Opinel No. 6 Beech Handle
A small pocket knife for outdoor activities. An excellent EDC knife to keep on hand. Thumb-operated opening.
The smooth yatagan-style blade is made of martensitic stainless steel with a hardness of 55-57 HRC, sourced from Europe. It is moisture-resistant and requires minimal maintenance.
The blade offers excellent sharpness and high wear resistance, allowing it to withstand regular contact with hard materials, such as ceramics, before needing resharpening.
Beech Handle:
Beech is the most commonly used wood for Opinel handles. It comes from the Jura and Vercors regions of France. It is hard, durable, and easy to work. With a uniform appearance, its light color ranges from yellow to pink. It is recognizable by the presence of numerous small dark streaks. The handle is varnished for better protection.
With Virobloc safety ring: One fixed part and one sliding part. In addition to locking the blade in the open position (for safe use), it is now possible to lock the blade in the closed position (for safe transport).
Dimensions: Blade 7 cm, Closed knife 9.3 cm, Overall length 16.3 cm
Made in Savoie, France
