Opinel 8VRI Folding Knife "Classic Woods"

An Opinel knife with an 8.5cm martensitic stainless steel blade for all your everyday tasks,

easy to maintain and razor-sharp.
The traditional Opinel blade is called a Yatagan blade (after Turkish sabers) with its raised point, which guarantees great robustness.
The handle is made of olive wood with a Virobloc locking system, sourced from the legendary French forests of the Mediterranean. It is pleasant to the touch, with a golden yellow to orange hue. The handle is varnished to prevent soiling and for better protection against moisture.
The nobility of olive wood concentrated in a No. 8.

*The Virobloc safety ring, invented in 1955 by Marcel Opinel, is fitted to all closing knives from N°06 onwards. 
 The Virobloc is cut out of stainless steel and is made up of two parts: a fixed part and a sliding part. 
 In addition to locking the blade in the open position (safety in use), it is also possible to lock the blade in the closed position for transport safety.
