The Spyderco kitchen knives, with their characteristic design, are simply superb!

Spyderco offers two ranges of Japanese kitchen knives:

Itamae which means "in front of the cutting board". Knives made in Japan to Spyderco's strict specifications.
Each blade has a core of Aogami Super Blue steel surrounded by layers of SUS410 steel and the handle is a black and brown G10 with a tapered shape.
This range designed by Murray Carter consists of 5 knives: the Petty, Funayuki, Nakiri, Bunka Bocho and Gyuto.

The Wakiita range, also designed by Murray Carter and manufactured in Japan to Spyderco's exacting standards, features a tapered shape in CTS BD1N steel complemented by a solid black G10 handle that is extremely durable.
Wakiita consists of 5 knives: Petty, Funayuki, Nakiri, Bunka Bocho and Gyuto.
