Karambit folding knives

KARAMBIT

The Karambit knife originated in Asia, and more specifically in Indonesia and the Philippines, where it is used by practitioners of Pencak-Silat, an Indo-Malaysian martial art.
Used for self-defence, these curved knives can also be used for a variety of other tasks. Karambits generally have a serrated edge and a pointed tip. They are also small and light, and are characterised by their curved blade and finger ring.
Karambits are made from high-carbon steel, which gives the blade its hardness and strength. However, this also makes it susceptible to rust and corrosion.
