New SOLID® Karambit LionSteel "L.E.ONE" folding knife in aluminium in collaboration with Ernest Emerson

Emerson knives have been serving the world's most elite special operations soldiers in all global conflicts and covert missions for over 20 years.

The Karambit knife originated in Asia, more specifically in Indonesia and the Philippines, where it is used by practitioners of Pencak-Silat, an Indo-Malaysian martial art. It is used for self-defence. The "L.E.ONE" features a full aluminium handle, ReF system, CPM MagnaCut steel and Emerson-Wave.

The Solid Frame-Lock handle, already a distinctive lionSTEEL feature, is milled from a solid piece of Ergal aluminium available in a range of colours. The Hawkbill-shaped blade is made from CPM MagnaCut steel (with impressive rust resistance and excellent edge retention).
Other integrated features make the knife more comfortable and safer to use, allowing the end user to choose how to use the knife. REF (Removable Flipper System): this feature lets you choose how to use the knife. If you don't want the flipper, you can unscrew it using the Torx tool and place the second "cap" screw, which fits perfectly into the hole at the bottom of the blade. The patented Wave function. Ernest Emerson created the Emerson Wave function when he discovered that the knife automatically unfolded when removed from your pocket, with the right movement. This device allows you to literally open the knife as it is removed from the pocket. This makes any Emerson knife with the Remote Pocket Opener the fastest deploying knife in the world. Faster than an automatic knife, your knife is open when it arrives in your hand, ready to use.
