Fontenille Pataud is a manufacturer of fine cutlery since 1929, some of whose models can still be seen in the cutlery museum in Thiers.

All the knives manufactured in their workshops are made according to the rules of the art. They are created with inspiration from French regional knives.

Fontenille Pataud, combines traditional know-how and new technologies to produce quality collections.
The cutlery is specialised in the manufacture of the laguiole knife, a famous knife from the south of the Auvergne and the north of the Aveyron. The Laguiole knife is now known throughout the world for its history, its characteristic shape, its bee and its shepherd's cross.
The Fontenille Pataud Laguiole knives signed Gilles with or without blade blocking are handcrafted with a forged fly in the respect of the cutlery tradition.

A 100% French production, all parts are made in Thiers, capital of French cutlery.
