Laguiole knife from Fontenille Pataud Gilles® series ‘NATURE’ range
Fontenille Pataud is one of the cutlers from the Thiers area who have come together to perpetuate this mastery and know-how through a knife bearing the name of their town:
Thiers, the capital of French cutlery for over 6 centuries, and who have built the reputation of French knives by respecting the 3 key ideas: Territoriality, Quality, Morality.
It is considered to be the best Laguiole knife on the market, thanks to its respect for the quality of the materials used and its blend of tradition. The Laguiole Nature was created in collaboration with Robert Beillonnet (Meilleur Ouvrier de France 1997 and 2000).
While retaining the traditional forged bee shape of the Laguiole knife, a precision mechanism allows the blade to be locked securely when open.

12 cm blond horn handle with traditional shepherd's cross. Traditionally forged bee (not welded), each spring is freehand guilloched.
Shiny bolster.
A precision mechanism locks the blade securely when it is open.
A solid, fixed 100C6 steel stop allows the blade to be slammed down without damaging the cutting edge.
