It features a matte-finish Sandvik 12C27 stainless steel blade a premium steel offering a "razor-sharp" edge that is significantly superior to standard Z40C13 kitchen steel along with a matte stainless steel bolster and a drop-point blade with a nail nick for opening.

The handle is made of juniper wood (also known as cade wood); this prized timber is highly valued in knife-making for its contrasting grain, exceptional durability, and the naturally pleasant, peppery scent it releases.
