Chevalerias “Le Thiers” folding knife, 1 piece

Le Thiers folding knife, 1 piece, made from light-coloured horn and handcrafted in the Chevalerias cutlery workshops in Palladuc.
The elegant ‘double wave’ silhouette is characteristic of the registered design of the Le Thiers designation. 

A white blade made from Sandvik 12C27 stainless steel, easy to sharpen and highly resistant to corrosion. It cuts like a razor blade. Drop Point shape. The regulatory marking ‘Le Thiers par A. Chevalerias’ is engraved directly onto the blade.

The Guilloché Spring: The mechanical engraving, forming regular waves, is clearly visible along the entire length of the metal spine (the back of the knife). 

Handle made from black pressed horn (from the tip of a zebu or buffalo horn). It features a deep black colour, sometimes interspersed with faint natural white or grey veins, depending on the individual piece. Each piece is unique.
Fitted with a simple stainless steel bolster at the front to protect the pivot.
Locking mechanism: Traditional forced-lock system with manual opening via the notch in the blade (the tang).
