Gerber cutting tools

In 1910, Joseph Gerber founded Portland Oregon's Gerber Advertising agency. One year he commissioned a local knife maker to make 25 sets of kitchen knives as a year-end gift for his clients.
The knives were so successful that Gerber eventually parted ways with his advertising agency and founded Gerber Legendary Blades in 1939.

More than 70 years later, the Gerber brand is one of the leaders in outdoor equipment.
A brand that inspires respect among knife lovers and knife makers alike.

Bear Grylls, the well-known survival expert from the TV show "Alone in the wilderness", used Gerber knives on various expeditions before creating a range of knives and survival items called the "Survival series" in collaboration with the brand.
