Opinel 8VRI Folding Knife "Classic Woods"

An Opinel knife with an 8.5cm martensitic stainless steel blade for all your everyday tasks,

easy to maintain and razor-sharp.

The traditional Opinel blade is called a Yatagan blade (after Turkish sabers) with its upturned point, which guarantees great strength.
Walnut handle with a Virobloc locking system, made from wood sourced from French forests, brown with sometimes yellow or gray undertones. The handle is varnished to prevent dirt and for better protection against moisture.
The elegance of walnut concentrated in a No. 8.

*The Virobloc safety ring, invented in 1955 by Marcel Opinel, is fitted to all closing knives from N°06 onwards. 
 The Virobloc is cut out of stainless steel and is made up of two parts: a fixed part and a sliding part. 
 In addition to locking the blade in the open position (safety in use), it is also possible to lock the blade in the closed position for transport safety.
