Opinel Knife N° 9 VRI ‘Classic’ walnut 

The knife you need for picnics, outdoor work, aperitifs and meals with friends or family.

The smooth yatagan-type blade is made of martensitic stainless steel with a hardness of 55-57HRC from Europe. 
The blade has an excellent cutting edge and high resistance to wear, enabling it to cope with regular contact with hard materials, such as ceramics, before requiring re-sharpening. Opening with thumb nail.

The handle is made from walnut, a French wood with yellow or grey shades and dark veins. The handle is varnished for optimum protection against moisture and dirt.

With Virobloc safety ring: one fixed part and one sliding part. In addition to locking the blade in the open position (user safety), it is now possible to lock the blade in the closed position (transport safety).

Dimensions: blade 9 cm, closed knife 11 cm, total length 20 cm
