Opinel Santoku Knife "Parallel No. 119"
In Japanese, the term "santoku" literally means "three good things," referring to the tasks typically performed in the kitchen: slicing, dicing, and chopping.
This is therefore the Japanese version of the European chef's knife.
The 17 cm blade is made of X50CrMoV15 steel and remains stable during cutting thanks to its 3 cm thickness.
The handle is made of beech wood, the wood most commonly used by Opinel for its handles. Sourced from the Vercors and Jura forests.
It is varnished to protect it from dirt and water.
This knife is not dishwasher safe.
Specifications:
Blade length: 17 cm
Handle length: 13.2 cm
Knife weight: 140 g
Made in France
