Le Fidèle "L'Alsacien" folding knife, oak, with corkscrew

The history of the "L'Alsacien" knife dates back to the early 20th century, specifically the 1910s and 1920s. Designed for the urban class, manual laborers, and the farming community, it was quickly adopted by winemakers and charcutiers in Eastern France. Cutlers in Thiers soon nicknamed it "Le Massu" (The Club). This name stems from the shape of its serpentine handle, which ends in a wider, rounded bolster reminiscent of a club.
It is a classic French regional knife, crafted with the expertise Le Fidèle has cultivated for years.

It features a drop-point blade made of 12C27 stainless steel, opened via a nail nick. The spine curves gently down toward the tip, while the cutting edge is slightly rounded along the first third to facilitate slicing. The blade is broad and sturdy, ideal for everyday tasks.

The oak wood handle gives it a rustic, traditional, and warm look.
