"Le Yatagan Basque" folding knife by Le Fidèle, master cutler in Thiers.
The Yatagan Basque is a regional pocket knife. Originally created for shepherds and tobacco growers in the Southwest, it is characterized by its curved handle and slender blade.

Finishes: features a spring and blade spine that are entirely hand-guilloché (engraved). The knife cannot close accidentally without deliberate, firm pressure applied to the back of the blade.
Safety: Slip-joint mechanism.
