Chevalerias “Le Pradel” folding knife, 8.5cm blade, pressed horn handle

The “Le Pradel” folding knife with a pressed horn handle, handcrafted in the workshops of the Chevalerias cutlery firm in Palladuc.
An iconic regional knife historically used by sailors and farmers in Brittany and Normandy.

A white Drop Point-shaped blade made from carbon steel, renowned for its unrivalled sharpness and ease of sharpening.
Regular maintenance is required for a carbon steel blade to prevent rusting.

Handle made from pressed horn with an iron bolster to reinforce the structure. Each piece is unique.
Locking mechanism: Traditional forced-lock system with manual opening via the notch in the blade (the tang).
