Chevalerias "Le Montocel" Folding Knife with Black Horn Handle

This is a versatile, robust, and elegant pocket knife, highly valued for everyday use or outdoor activities. It cuts like a razor.

This model takes its name from the Puy de Montoncel, a mountain peak visible from the Chevalerias workshops.

A satin-finished white drop-point blade made of 12C27 stainless steel.

The blade is engraved with the model name.

The handle is made of black horn (often called pressed black horn), a traditional material in Thiers cutlery. It generally comes from the horns of cattle or buffalo. The black horn undergoes a hot compression process to obtain perfectly smooth scales. It does not have the natural roughness or crevices of raw horn, which offers a very soft feel and a more modern look.
Each piece is unique.
Guilloché spring.

Locking mechanism: Traditional forced notch system with manual opening via the blade notch (the tab).
