G.David Laguiole folding knife with 12cm blond horn handle and cross
The forerunner of the Laguiole knife was born of the adoption of the Arabo-Hispanic Navaja, brought back in the early 19th century by those who left to work in Spain as pit-sawyers.
The local knife of the time, the Capouchadou, and the new Navaja gave birth to the Laguiole knife.
Introducing the Laguiole knife by G. David, perfect for your outdoor activities.
A 12c27 stainless steel blade with forced notch, Laguiole G. David engraved on the blade. It opens by cutting into the blade.
12 cm blond horn handle with 2 stainless steel matt cross bolsters, hand-engraved spring and welded bee.
Originally, the cross on the handle was used by Aubrac shepherds to pray as they stuck their knife into their loaf of bread. The Laguiole knife was a faithful companion for shepherds taking to the mountains with their flocks.
Made 100% in France.
