Au Sabot ‘Le Langres’ folding knife
The Langres has its origins between Burgundy and Haute-Marne, an emblematic knife that is still in use today. A regional knife that continues to be appreciated by fans of regional knives.
XC75 carbon steel blade, sheep's foot shape.
Excellent sharpness but requires special care (a drop of oil in the closed position on the axle. Clean the inside of the knife. Wooden handles should never be put in the dishwasher and should be kept in a dry place at room temperature).
Plexiglas or cellulose acetate handles are less sensitive to moisture and water. Clean with a damp cloth, then wipe dry.
Ivory handle (cellulose acetate). Steel bolster.
The knife has a forced lock mechanism, which is the most common. It closes and opens by pressing on the edge.
An EDC knife to keep with you or in your bag.
Dimensions :
open knife: 18 cm
handle: 10.5 cm
blade: 8.5 cm
weight: approx. 90 g
Made in France by the ‘Au Sabot’ cutlery factory in Thiers.
