Windmühlenmesser Ibex 100 Series Knife – Carbon Steel and Black Walnut

A premium Ibex 100 series pocket knife made in Solingen by Windmühlenmesser, designed for outdoor use and everyday activities.
Effective for small game, fishing, wood carving, and more.

Features a high-quality, plain-edge blade made of 102Cr6 carbon steel (58-59 HRC hardness), offering a razor-sharp edge and excellent edge retention. It has a "sheep's foot" blade profile. Equipped with a lock-back mechanism to secure the blade in the open position; the blade can also be opened using the thumb stud.

Carbon steel blades require maintenance to prevent oxidation and the development of a grey patina; the blade should be wiped clean after every use.

The black walnut handle offers a warm, textured, matte feel, ensuring a secure and ergonomic grip even with wet hands. It features a dark brown finish with relatively straight grain patterns.

To close the knife, pull the small metal ring on the back; this releases the lock in stages, allowing the blade to close gently without snapping shut on your fingers.
