Lansky Deluxe Sharpening Kit

Lansky offers us a compact, reliable, easy to use "DELUXE DIAMOND" sharpening kit.

This kit is composed of :

- An extruded aluminium blade clamp with clamping screw and angle selector.
- 4 guide rods
- 4 diamond stones: grey the very coarse grit (70) for reprofiling and bevel grinding
                                                       purple the coarse grit (120) to recreate the cutting edge
                                                       orange the medium grit (280) for frequent touch-ups and to keep the cutting edge always impeccable.
                                                       the fine grain (600) for the most frequent touch-ups
- 1 nylon brush to clean the stones after use, as diamond sharpening stones are made of a metal plate covered with monocrystalline diamond, they will wear out over time and the stones will have to be replaced.

This sharpening kit has 4 controlled sharpening angles:
- 17 degrees: For ultra-sharp sharpening for fillet knives for example, they will cut like razor blades.
- 20 degrees: For kitchen knives that require a very good edge.
- 25 degrees: For outdoor and hunting knives that need a long-lasting edge.
- 30 degrees: For intensive use such as cutting cardboard, string etc...

NEVER use sharpening oil on the diamond stones as this can clog the diamond and make the surface smooth and ineffective.
