Ryoba Hibiki saw
A saw designed for working with finer wood for making furniture, with teeth on both sides.
One cut is designed to cut the wood normally, and the second cut is designed to split the wood. The fine toothing prevents the wood from splitting, resulting in a beautiful finish. This saw is versatile and can be used for all woodworking tasks.
It comes with its own case.
Two different types of teeth (fine + medium) on the top and bottom of the SK-4 steel blade.
One is for cutting lengthways, the other for cross-cutting (22 teeth/30 mm).
Handle (Finish) : Polypropylene
Handle colour: White
Silky Japanese saw blades are made from top-of-the-range SK-4 carbon steel and are laser-cut. The blades are of unrivalled quality: very hard and strong, they remain supple and bite easily into the wood: this suppleness and flexibility come from the fact that the core of the teeth is made of soft metal.
The chemical composition of the metal, combined with the unique heating and cooling process, determines its high hardness. The high carbon content leads to high wear resistance, so the cutting edge stays sharp for a very long time.
The blade must be kept clean for optimum efficiency. The resin dissolves with olive oil, so your blade will be well cared for. Dry your blade and store it in a dry place.
Avoid solvents for the handle.
