Product Details

The F1AF model is the survival knife for professionals and pilots in the Swedish army.
 
An extremely versatile fixed-blade knife, you can always count on it for your outdoor work thanks to its secure, comfortable grip. There are survival knives and then there are real survival knives. The F1, S1 and A1 ranges are exceptional in terms of quality and durability. The F1AF differs from its predecessor (F1pro/CoS) in the following important details:
- Blade made from Lam.VG-Wolf special steel, which differs from other stainless special steels in that it has a higher tungsten content (1.25%), retains its sharpness better and is slightly more resistant than the others. The blade is made from laminated steel with a VGWolf core and outer layers of softer steel. As a result, the F1 blade retains its sharpness very well and is more resistant than a simple steel blade.

The Fallkniven F1AF has been the official survival knife of the Swedish Air Force since 1995. It took 8 years to develop this model. It is versatile for hunting, camping, trekking or survival excursions.
