Boker Barlow Prime Tirpitz Damascus Pocket Knife
The modern gentleman's knife that fits in one hand, perfect for all your everyday cutting needs.
More compact than the original model, it will impress in the collector's window.
The Tirpitz is the twin of the famous Bismarck which was the largest German battleship.
After the Second World War a Norwegian specialist company dismantled the ship that had sunk off the coast of Norway for civilian use and sold some of the Tirpitz steel to Böker.
The combination of Tirpitz steel with other carbon steels results in an extremely durable steel with a Rockwell hardness of 61 to 63 HRC
The smooth Drop Point blade made of 200-layer Damascus steel can be opened with the thumb by means of a notch on the blade.
The teardrop shape of the knife dates back to the English pocket knives of the 17th century.
The handle is made of black and brown micarta, milled profile and walnut wood, nickel silver rivets.
