Boker Tiger Damascus Collection Pocket Knife by Chad Nichols
A unique model as the Boker Tiger is equipped with a Damascus blade made from the steel of the Tiger I tank destroyed in Bauska, Latvia in the summer of 1944 by the Russian army. It is said to have collided with a Russian T-34 medium tank and an SU-76 self-propelled gun.
The non-oxidising mosaic damascus steel is hand forged by Chad Nichols with an Intrepid pattern reminiscent of the marks left in the ground by the Tiger's tracks.
Unlike conventional damascus, no layers are created in the production of mosaic damascus, but intricate damascus bars are forged by hand in a complex and intricate process to form a mosaic.
Its smooth Clip Point shaped blade made of damascus steel, opens with the help of the thumb stud, with stonewash finish, a Hinderer Lock-Stop acts as an anti overextension lock.
The black micarta handle is reminiscent of the surface structures of the Zimmerit coating on German armoured vehicles.
