Maserin Gladio Alato dagger
The "Gladio Alato" project was created to provide the personnel of the 66th Air-Mobile Infantry Regiment "Trieste" with a specific dagger that incorporates the spirit, symbolism and needs of the department. To create it, Maserin collaborated with the CFA "Aircraft Training Center" and designed the new 966. The square blade is reminiscent of the Gladio from which it takes its name, and the handle is the classic military tactical dagger, but with a high-grip finish. /texture .
Given the department's tactical use, we've added details to the pure dagger that make it suitable for emergency use, such as a glass breaker with slot and 2 holes on the hilt to allow the knife to be attached to other items in an emergency.
The 66th 'Trieste' Airmobile Infantry Regiment is the only airmobile infantry department in the Italian army. It is based in Forlì, forms part of the Friuli Aeromobile Brigade and is made up of volunteers.
