Product Details

KAI Wasabi black 16.5 cm Santoku knife

In Japanese, the term 'santoku' literally means 'three good things' in relation to the tasks usually carried out in the kitchen: slicing, chopping and mincing.
This is the best-selling model among Japanese knives, as its functions are truly versatile: it easily cuts all meats, fish, vegetables, and even the most fragile fruits such as strawberries. Three virtues: slicing, chopping, mincing

Wasabi black is the name of this series of Japanese knives, which is very well known in the land of the rising sun.
The 16.5 cm blade is made from polished stainless steel, while the handle is a blend of polypropylene and bamboo powder (a natural anti-bacterial agent). The special feature of the handle is that it is not inserted like traditional Japanese knives, but is completely embedded in the blade, making it completely fixed to the blade and therefore immovable.
Thanks to this process, no dirt is deposited on the handle.

Asymmetrical blade length: 16.5 cm
Total length 29.1 cm
