Boker's Appalachian axes have a Rhenish-shaped head made of Damascus steel. The size, weight and construction are designed for finer and more precise cutting work. The head is made from 360-layer solid carbon Damascus steel.

A natural, light-coloured Russian leather sheath with carefully stitched piping to protect the edge.
Two leather straps hold the axe securely in its sheath.
