Suncraft Senzo Wa Deba japanese knife 17cm blade
A heavy, versatile knife with a protruding blade.
Its front part makes it ideal for filleting: the blade glides easily along the edges.
The base of the blade, the sharpest part, cuts meat, fish bones and chicken joints efficiently.
The blade is made from high-quality 1K6 stainless steel with a Rockwell hardness of 58+/-1 and contains molybdenum, making the blades rust-resistant.
The traditional handles are made from Magnolia wood and the bolster from stainless steel.
The handles on these models have the traditional Japanese octagonal shape. They consist of two dark pakka wood plates. A decorative white ring separates the bolster from the handle, creating an attractive contrast. The handle is tapered for an excellent grip.
Suncraft's Japanese knifemakers know how to create elegant kitchen knives. Since 1948, they have been making traditional premium quality knives in Seki City, Japan.
Each knife is unique.
Senzo premium knives should be washed by hand after each use: Use soapy water with a sponge or soft cloth (NEVER USE THE ABRASIVE SIDE OF THE SPONGE.) Rinse and dry immediately afterwards with a dry cloth. Do not leave to soak in water for a long time.
DO NOT PUT IN THE DISHWASHER.
Regularly sharpen your knives to a 15-degree angle, using a manual sharpener, a suitable stone or by a professional.
