The X-Long saw is a longer version of the Nordic Pocket Saw Original, specially designed for more efficient cutting of thick logs and branches.
In addition to its length, the X-Long shares the same features and attributes as the Nordic Pocket Saw Original.
To cut larger logs, you can also use this saw in pairs. It's ideal for logs around 10 cm thick, but can also cut pieces from 3 cm to 45 cm in diameter.
The 93 cm-long chain is made from heat-treated high-carbon steel and has 50 bi-directional teeth for optimum performance.
The handles are made of tough, extra-wide nylon for a secure grip, even when wet. The chain has been tested in a Swedish laboratory, demonstrating its ability to withstand forces 20 times greater than those to which a human can be subjected in normal use. The Original version comes with a nylon pouch that fits easily into a rucksack or attaches to a belt.

To maximise the life of your Nordic pocket saw, it's important to keep the chain clean, lubricate it with chainsaw oil and sharpen it with a 4 mm round file.
