Gerber Infantry Fixed Blade Knife by Jeff Freeman
A rugged MOLLE compatible and versatile knife, ideal for camping and other outdoor, survival or tactical activities.
Originally designed to free a crew from a downed aircraft, the LMF II is tough enough to cut through the fuselage of an aircraft and smart enough to keep you safe while doing so. The knife has an intentional break between the tang and the butt cap, providing insulated protection against electrical wires and absorbing any hammering shock. So if you touch a wire with the knife you won't notice it.
Full tang 420HC steel blade with black coating (to avoid scratches and glare), mixed cutting edge and Drop Point profile. The blade can cut branches, textile fibres with its teeth and the smooth part for other tasks.
Black FRN handle with glass fibre reinforced nylon rubber.
The holes in the handle are designed to attach a stick to the knife.
A sharp point at the end of the handle can be used as a spear or glass breaker.
Sheath with blade sharpener that can be worn on waistcoats or MOLLE bags, also on the belt, an additional strap is provided.
