The axe head is made from forged steel and the handle from Gator, a glass-filled nylon coated with Gerber's Gator texture. A fixed Drop Point-shaped knife with a serrated top is located inside the handle, which is also made from GFN. Always be careful when removing the knife from the handle - accidents can happen very quickly.
