Le Thiers®" knives by Goyon-Chazeau

10 October 1953... If we had to give a date of birth to the name GOYON-CHAZEAU, it would be the date of the marriage of Solange CHAZEAU and Gabriel GOYON.

Just married, the young couple combined their two surnames to offer their services as home polishers to the many cutleries established in the Thiers region.
Gabriel and Solange, the "GOYON-CHAZEAUs", gradually specialised in top-of-the-range cutlery.
 The GOYON-CHAZEAU Cutlery is also strongly involved in the preservation of the heritage and know-how of cutlery.
This is demonstrated by its membership, from the outset, of the Confrérie du Couteau Le Thiers, which works to maintain a high level of cutlery quality in France and protects the LE THIERS® knife model.

Goyon-Chazeau, combines traditional know-how and new technologies to produce quality collections. 
LE THIERS® knives must have the following distinctive features:
 
- The shape: a double wave, with the obliques at both ends of the handle reversed. 
- The T logo, engraved on the knife,
- The LE THIERS® brand engraved on the right-hand side of the blade, followed by "par + manufacturer's name".
