Citadel Nordic 2009 Bamboo Hunting Knife

Very nice Nordic hunting dagger made of Citadel bamboo, entirely hand made.

The 12cm blade is forged from N690Co steel, Rockwell hardness 57-60, semi-rough. 

Its sharpness is comparable to a razor blade.

The bamboo handle is composed of red strips of interlaced, a bone ring between the blade and the handle set on a stainless steel insert. A small hole at the end of the handle to pass a cord completes this Cambodian knife.

Comes with a leather case.

Each knife, handmade in Cambodia by highly skilled blacksmiths, is unique, and the model may vary significantly from the picture shown.

The high-carbon blades have a superior cutting edge but are oxidizable. To avoid oxidation, it is strongly advised to carefully dry and oil (vegetable oil) your knife after use.
