Spyderco Wakiita Nakiri range by Murray Carter

Meaning "vegetable cutter", the Nakiri's rectangular shape and slightly raised edge make it the perfect tool for cutting all types of vegetables with precision.
The shape of the blade also allows its length to remain constant after years of sharpening.
WAKIITA means "near the cutting board" and is a term used to describe senior apprentices who are skilled enough to assist senior chefs. They are considered to be sous-chefs on the way to becoming experienced chefs.
The Wikiita series is the second level of Murray Carter's collection of refined knives with solid stainless steel. 

The Wikiita Series blades are made of high carbon CTS® BD1N steel, enriched with nitrogen to provide the perfect balance of hardness, edge retention and corrosion resistance.
Blades feature Murray Carte's signature "Carter Elbow", a distinctive taper that reinforces the blade tip.
A traditional wa-style handle in black G10, a durable fiberglass and epoxy laminate.
