Helle Mandra FG knife
The Helle Mandra is a small neck knife, tested by Les Stroud, named after a commune in Transylvania.
The prototype of this knife was tested under survival conditions by Les Stroud, alias "Survivorman", during the programme filmed in Romania.
It was given the name 'Mândra', in reference to the commune where Les Stroud was rescued after his ordeal in the Carpathians.
The Mandra FG excels at slicing with its 12C27 steel blade and slightly thicker handle than the Mandra Standard thanks to its thicker white liners.
A smooth, satin-finish, full tang Drop Point blade.
Curly birch and vulcanised fibre handle.
The Mandra FG comes with a beige leather sheath with a press stud for secure attachment. The white stitching matches the colour of the knife's lining.
The original Mandra was the third knife developed in collaboration with 'Survivorman' Les Stroud. The name Mândra means "proud" in Romanian.
