Hultafors Qvarfot felling axe

HULTAFORS Qvarfot felling axe in Swedish carbon steel.

An axe designed for felling trees in the forest with its long handle to add strength when striking, it is named after one of the families who served as blacksmiths in Hults Bruk for several generations.
A Swedish carbon steel blade hand-forged in a factory that has been in operation since 1697 in the Hult Valley (south-east Sweden). The axe heads will follow an automated process to be as efficient as possible, modernity combined with the traditions of the forges.
The grinding edge is convex, sharp, polished and ready for use.
The handles are made from light brown, linseed oil-treated American Hickory wood, which is excellent for absorbing shocks.
Supplied with a protective leather sheath.
