Hultafors Hult splitting axe

HULTAFORS Hult (Swedish for forest) splitting axe in Swedish carbon steel.

This splitting axe has been specially designed for heavier tasks such as splitting wood and logs. The shape of the head, combined with a slightly convex grind, splits the wood. A long, straight handle.
The name of this axe comes from Hult, the region where Hults Bruk was founded.
A Swedish carbon steel blade hand-forged in a factory that has been in operation since 1697 in the Hult valley (south-east Sweden). The axe heads will follow an automated process to be as efficient as possible, modernity combined with the traditions of the forges.
Convex grinding edge, sharpened, polished and ready for use.
The handles are made from light brown, linseed oil-treated American Hickory wood, which is excellent for absorbing shocks.
Supplied with a protective leather case and individual box.
