HULTAFORS Ekelund hunting axe in Swedish carbon steel.

This axe, with its honed neck and medium-weight head, is compact and ideal for your outings in the woods or on hikes, for work in camps, building shelters, limbing, cleaning, or simply for cutting wood to prepare the fire or butchering game with great precision.
A Swedish carbon steel blade hand-forged in a factory that has been in operation since 1697 in the Hult Valley (south-east Sweden). The axe heads will follow an automated process to be as efficient as possible, modernity combined with the traditions of the forges.
The grinding edge is convex, sharp, polished and ready for use.
The handles are made from light brown, linseed oil-treated American Hickory wood, which is excellent for absorbing shocks.
Supplied with a protective leather sheath.
