Hudson Bay Camp Cold Steel Axe
Almost every axe you can buy on the market today has its roots in the Hudson Bay axe used for centuries in the vast forests and swamps of northeastern Canada. Famous for its versatility and efficiency, the Hudson's Bay axe has become indispensable to anyone trying to make a living in the wilderness. So Cold Steel decided (like so many others before us) to resize it to tomahawk format. Forged from 1055 carbon steel, it offers a 10.5cm long cutting edge in the classic shape as well as a substantial back that can be used for crushing and hammering. You can even drive nails and spikes with it because, like the blade, it's also differently hardened. Supplied with a tough, straight-grained American hickory handle. For cutting wood of all sizes and bivouac branches.
