HULTAFORS "SY SV" carpenter's axe, sandblasted and lacquered head, convex cutting edge, ideal for precision work.
Head with curved return so you can position your hand close to the edge for better control.
A Swedish carbon steel blade hand-forged in a factory that has been in operation since 1697 in the Hult Valley (south-east Sweden). The steel is worked with a large number of strokes, making it more compact and increasing the axe's strength.
Hardening leaves a visible mark within which the axe can be sharpened without weakening the cutting edge.
The handles are made from light brown, linseed-oil-treated American Hickory wood, which has excellent shock-absorbing properties.
Supplied with a protective leather sheath.
