Boker 1969 Z28 Damascus Collection Pocket Knife by Chad Nichols
Why Z28?
Quite simply, it's the name given to the last of the first-generation 1969 Chevrolet Camaros. Between 1966 and 1969, 700,000 Camaros rolled off the assembly line in Detroit, Michigan. Intended primarily to appeal to young buyers. Compact, sporty and affordable, the coupe was the model of choice for young people.
For this knife, Boker drew inspiration from the famous Camaro Z28 racing car in collaboration with designer Tommaso Rumici to create a unique knife that collectors will love.
A smooth Damascus Drop Point blade formed from 80 layers has been forged by Chad Nichols in the "Tread" pattern and is reminiscent of the Camaro's inclined induction bonnet.
Parts of the Camaro's upper triangle have been used for the blade, which opens smoothly with the blue thumb pin, while the stainless steel vifLiner Lock locks the knife. Opening with blue thumb pin.
Based on a colour analysis of an original model, the finely coordinated paintwork in "Le Mans Blue" was created especially for Böker for the aluminium handle. The coupé, the small rear spoiler and the gill-shaped air intakes on the rear wings have been beautifully integrated into the knife.

The axle screw is modelled on the rims used on the Camaro, while the straight stainless steel clip, milled from solid, is reminiscent of the chrome door handles.
There's a hole in the back for a cord if required.
The knife comes with a high-quality floating display stand.
