You have a high quality machine that is ideal for home work and for hobbyists.
You have access to the complete system of Tormek devices and can sharpen almost all classic cutting tools. The Tormek T-4 is a further development of the T-3.
The vital functions of the motor and main shaft are attached to the cast zinc cover, which also has integrated sleeves for the universal holder.
Like the larger Tormek models, the T-4 is equipped with the original Tormek grinding wheel. It is optimised to combine efficient steel removal, a smooth finish and long life. With the supplied wheel dresser you can change the surface of the wheel from a 220 grit to a 1000 grit, giving you two different sharpening qualities from the same wheel.
The T-4 is well suited for sharpening chisels, knives, chisels and smaller tools, such as carving tools.
It also works with turning tools and drills, but for planer knives and router knives we recommend a larger Tormek machine.
The motor is rated for 30 minutes continuous use at a time.
The Tormek T-4 is supplied with the SP-650 wheel preparer, the WM-200 angle positioner, the PA-70 sharpening paste, the EM-15 bevel marker, for colouring the bevel when determining the edge angle and the Tormek sharpening manual.
