The Karambit knife comes to us from Asia (Philippines and Indonesia) with its very particular design which makes us think of a lion or tiger claw.
It is a defensive knife that can be used horizontally, but also for outdoor activities such as fishing, hunting, camping or as an outdoor knife.
On this folding knife the blade opens and closes with the help of a flipper between the handle and the blade which prevents the finger from touching the blade.
When the Karambit knife is held in a pocket by the clip, you can pull the ring out of the pocket and open the blade at the same time (thanks to the hook on the back of the blade).
The blade is rounded to prevent injury, Hawkbill shape, semi-serrated, N690Co steel, hardness 58/60 HRC, easy to sharpen. Fox logo engraved on the blade.
Opening with thumb stud or hole in blade for thumb or with hook on blade and linerlock.
Blade hook on top and grooved to prevent thumb from slipping towards the blade.
Yellow G10 handle with fingerprints for optimal grip.
Carabiner and safety clip on the back, Torx screwdriver on the hook and glass breaker on the end of the handle at the blade
Clip: 420J2B stainless steel - reversible (tip-up)
Back ring: aeronautical aluminium T6-6082
