The Ookami Gold® convex clamp
This is an accessory for the Ookami Gold® sharpening system, specially designed for sharpening and convexising the world's best high-end beauty scissors, speeding up sharpening and polishing time.
It does not limit the professional scissor sharpener to a single angle, nor does it require the repetitive adjustment of a pair of pliers over several angles to obtain a convex or semi-convex edge. Blend and refine the polished edge more quickly and easily by gradually increasing the angle by rotating the pliers.
The continuously adjustable angle allows the professional sharpener to evenly convex the entire blade as desired right down to the back. The notch locks the pliers into a pre-set sharpening angle that can be adjusted to sharpen a standard bevelled edge. The pliers are fitted with an ergonomic knob.
The pliers adapt to a variety of blade types and sizes.
