Product Details

Carving knife - 15 cm blade. Super Gou Damascus 161 layers, the top-of-the-range series of Yaxell knives.

The blade core is made from ultra-hard Micro Carbide Powder stainless steel SG2 : this powered steel contains a lot of carbon and has an exceptional hardness of about 63 Rockwell.
Powdered steel is used to ensure a high degree of purity and an exceptionally sharp cutting edge.
Each side is enveloped by 80 layers of soft and hard stainless steel.

The handle is made out of red-black brilliantly finished Micarta, an odorless and enormously durable material made of resin and linen. 
Stainless steel rivets. 
Trade mark ‘GOU’ engraved on the grip end.
