Superb French handmade pocket knife, an outdoor folding knife for all your daily activities or hunting knife.
Blade made of 256 layer Damascus steel forged from AISI 1075 (high carbon) and AISI 4340 (low carbon, high nickel alloy steel) quality sheets. A stack of 11 sheets is formed which is then heated and hammer forged.
The heating and beating process is repeated 4-5 times until over 200 layers of high quality Damascus steel are obtained. A 3mm thick drop point blade, manual opening and robust backlock safety. Oxo engraved on the blade.
The handle is made of olive wood, 1.7 cm thick, and fits perfectly in the hand.
In general, all wooden handles are water resistant: only wash them with water if you really have to. In this case, dry and feed the wood immediately.
