Perceval has created this range of "Le Français" knives inspired by a 17th century knife model.
This Damascus knife combines the elegance of a jewel with its practicality and the pleasure of cutting will be only tenfold, it can be used in all circumstances.
The Damascus blade uses the latest metallurgical innovations, a sintering method preserves the grain and increases its performance in terms of stainless steel.
After grinding, the blade reveals small zebras with a "Twist" pattern.
The Gabonese ebony handle is a strong and dense wood of deep black colour. This precious wood has a very fine grain and makes a perfectly smooth polish.
Very slow grinding and polishing with buffalo leather, mounting of the knife on beryllium bronze washers.
All the manufacturing process: adjustment, assembly, polishing, sharpening and finishing of the knives are carried out manually by professionals in the workshops in THIERS, France.
Each knife being unique, the photos are not contractual.
