Nontron folding knives, woodburned boxwood handles

Nontron knives are traditionally made in Dordogne, in the small town of Nontron where the tradition of cutlery continues since the 15th century.

Cutlery Nontronnaise develops a complete range of folding and table knives as well as kitchenwares, with a quality production where each craftsman makes his knife from end-to-end.

The handles are worked in hard wood as ebony, Juniper and mostly boxwood that him, is cut at the end of 15 to 20 years. The wood dries in the open air for at least four years before being worked.
The handle decoration is woodburned : kinds of inverse V supervised by 3 points and rows of small points.

The blades are usually from stainless steel T12, allowing a precise and quality cutting edge.
